They put aside all personal considerations and fought for a just cause. They turned out to be the real heroes and heroines in this entire episode, I believe. All that has happened should, hopefully, help strengthen the judiciary in Pakistan and cause the legislature and the executive to have greater respect for the will of the people, in future. Your concerns about the requirement for the army's and America's interventions are entirely valid, however, I think. On the positive side, it was heartening to note the role that the lawyers played.
