Unfortunately I don't think Pakistan has any other choice. The economy is a disaster and the government is bloated and incompetent. IMF's criticism may be "old and hackneyed" but that isn't any reason not to state it once again. All said and done, and whatever be its limitations, the government of a land is accountable to its people. To whom is the IMF accountable to?
