Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?

My fav is the bagpipes version, of course.
Rabindranath Tagore adopted the music of “auld lang syne” for the famous Bengali song “Purono sei diner Kotha”.

many thanks for the links to the music – I loved the recordings..The Bangla version, authentic of course has more melody but it is Hindi one that I understand
