The secret of life, in brief – Sindhi poems

Selected verse of poems by Tanveer Abbasi, a Sindhi poet of great poet translated by Dr Farrukh Malik-

“Blowing wind has crossed the iron bars

And adorable like thee, as if

In the dark woods of sorrows

It has brought thee

What if the painful night is so long?

Moon and stars glow as always

Thy love has healed all the wounds

And thine admirers smile always “

Thanks to your last post on Amrita Pritam, I’ve read a couple of her short stories and found them amazing.
“No absolutes for something as relative as a human life
No rules for something so tender as a heart..” That is so telling on both human life and the heart that beats within.
Thank you for introducing this ‘free spirit’ called Amrita Pritam.
