Ignoring your personal slanders, your theocratic system - which, in your view, gave the personal freedom to choose - was termed as the “Eastern Swastika”, an ideal system of government - by the Hitler’s German delegation that visited Tibet in the 1930’s. You clearly have no idea of what Lama’s theocracy entailed - physical bondage and slavery (watch an old Nat Geo documentary on YouTube).

Force was used because the Lamas resisted the nationalization of land which was controlled by them under the garb of monasteries (something that was done in Europe as well way back). Most of the ordinary Tibetans, who lived in chains before that, saw the Chinese as liberators. Moreover, the Lama’s struggle was owned and supported by the CIA (Watch ‘CIA in Tibet’ at YouTube). Moreover, Tibet has always been a part of China since ancient times - it was only for a decade or two that it existed as seperate.

China or any other country is not seen in Chinese context but in the universal context of human ethics . if people start accpeting your pathetic argument of context then every act of massacre can be justified by giving context ..

It’s interesting you quoted the Tainamen square “massacre” here too. You know very well that the event was covered massively by the media (thus some powerful photographs). However, to my utter surprise, I have not been able to see one single video of killings. Also, you must be knowing that there was a Spanish media crew, amongst others, that said and continue to say that there were no killings. I wonder why!

Now, I don’t say there are no problems with China. That being said, is there any third world country that is faring better than China? The problems of China are to be seen in the context of China.

Overall life expectancy of Tibetans is 67 years,
almost double the figure in the 1950s, which was 35.5
years.

Tibetans are not stupid, they will not give all of
this up for the rampant corruption, poverty,
degradation, oppression and slavery that imperialism
brings in its wake.

Imperialism broke our country (India) into two parts, India and Pakistan. Imperialism broke Yugoslavia into 6 countries. Imperialism killed Lumumba, the great African leader. Imperialism killed Allende, the great Chilean leader and replaced him with a dictator Pinochet.

Now lets see your argument “China has done it without the prescriptions of the West ”

China is achieved this development by not only imitating the western capitalism but even at the cost of its own people . Big American or western multinational are using Chinese Population as Slave for their cheap manufacturing because I have seen my self the kind of facility , working condition and Meagre salary they all get ( to keep the cost Low) and they dont have rights to fight for their rights .
and guess who is acting as dog to guard and exploit this population .. its own government .

About its human rights abuses - well that is a tricky area and I tend to agree with you both. Having said that those who are pointing their fingers have no respect for law, rights and humans for if that were the case they would not kill or contribute to the deaths of 1 million plus innocent civilians ….
