Without meaning to sound negative...dreams, being ephemeral, are almost incapable of being re scripted. However, we can always dream over; of course there is no guarantee that the new dream will be half as utopic, given all that has transpired. A beautifully scripted thought; wish it would convert into reality... We are a people living Kierkegaard’s dystopia as we have lost the memory of a home and also the hope of a promised land.

These are civilisational issues.. and races/groups mature... the way humans do in an individual experience. So we dont blame the smart guy(s), who played the trick(s) on us... Ayesha Jalal's Theory is absolutely correct. I think Ayesha must put her whole book on the internet for free.. Maximum people must read it. She presents a very different perspective. It may not be the WHOLE truth... but it is close to the WHOLE truth. LK Advani remembered Liaquat Ali Khan's budget last week (5 March 2008). Why ? What impact did Liaquat's budget have on the crucial decisions.. Its an angle to research and dive deep. Why do i harp on the same issue on a daily basis... Reason is : i see it as the inevitable. India, Pakistan and Bangladesh have to come back together. The Indian Cricket League... the Pakistani singers in Indian Movies... (and viceversa)... The movies... these are symptoms.
