Khawaja Ghareeb Nawaz’s immortal verses on the status of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS)
Shah ast Hussain, Badshah ast Hussain
Deen ast Hussain, Deen Panah ast Hussain
Sardad na dad dast, dar dast-e-yazeed,
Haqaa key binaey La ila ast HussainAnd a rough translation -
Ruler is Hussain, Emperor is Hussain,
Faith is Hussain , guardian of faith is Hussain .
Offered his head and not the hand to Yazid.
Indeed, Hussain is the foundation of La-ilah (the declaration that none but God is Absolute and Almighty)
Ehsaas ke har moaarka-e-karb-o-balaa meN
Dil, motaqid-e-waza-e-Husain-ibn-Ali hai
Haqiqat-e-abadi hay maqÄm-e-Shabbiri
Badaltay rahay hain andÄze Kufio-ShÄmi
Iqbal here compares two things Shabbiri or Husayniyat, i-e. principles enunciated and adhered to by Imam Husayn, and Yazidiyat, i.e. worldly power and authority. Husayn was the symbol of devotion to and love for Allah, i.e. submission to none except Allah.
The spirit as shown by the rulers of Kufa and Syria, is always changing since it tries to gain strength through fraud, dishonesty, and political expediency and maneuvering as against this truth never changes. So .the place Imam Husayn has achieved, is a reality which shall be hailed and acknowledged for all times to come

The poem is great but it’s popular attribution to Hazrat Ghraib Nawaz RA is mistaken, It’s actually by a Moinuddin Kashmiri. Several of the knowledgable CHishti saints have pointed this out. See Tarbiyat ul ushshaq for e.g.
Mr. cyclewala I respect your views but i did not find any proof given by you,Hazrat Moinuddin Kashmiri also known as Moinuddin Naqshbandi(R.Aleh),in Srinagar, do exist but it is not proved that They said these Verses,These verses are genuinely said by Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty (R.Aleh) .So i Consider your statement Illogical. Mr Cyclewala i respect your views but i did not find any proof given by you.Hazrat Moinuddin Kashmiri also known as Hazrat Moinuddin Naqshbandi (R.Aleh) do exist,in Srinagar, but there is no proof that they said these verses.I only got proof that Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty (R.Aleh) genuinely said these verses.In my opinion i consider your statement unauthentic.If you still have any proofs,then provide it.Thank you Regards Umair Afzal MIr.

The noble soul Hazrat Khaja Moinuddin Gharib Nawaz recognising, appreciating and paying homage, respect to Imam Ali Muqam Hazrat Syedna Imam Hussain (ra)
Now look at a group of muslim today are trying to degrade any Alim, Ahle bait, Sahabi Ikram.
May Allah swt guide and safe us from these kind of evil.
