On the eve of Guru Nanak’s birth anniversary
Centuries ago, Guru Nanak composed these lines:
Within every body
Is the Lord hidden;
Within every body
Is His light.
Searching his body, his home,
By the master’s instructions one finds
the Name revealed within.
I was reminded of the verses above when I read this news-item today:
At least 940 Sikh yatrees from India reached Nankana Sahib on Wednesday to participate in 536th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak commencing from Nov 23 to 25.
