A place unsown…

3 September 2007

Another profund Rumination -

The Absolute Being works in nonexistence -
what but nonexistence is the workshop of the Maker
of existence?

Does anyone write upon a written page? Does
anyone plant a sapling in a place already planted?

No, he searches for a paper free of writing, he
sows a seed in a place unsown.

Be, oh brother, a place unsown, a white paper
untouched by the pen!

    Amazing poem!

  2. What a lovely Rumi poem!

It reminds me of the wise words someone once said to me: we each have our own book of life with blank pages in them; what shall we fill them with?

Thanks for sharing. I hope you’ve been well, and that you are still painting. Best regards.

  3. Whether I shall turn out to be the hero of my own life, or whether that station will be held by anybody else, these pages must show (David Copperfield, Chapter 1, I am born.

  4. BD: thanks for dropping by – happiness is a struggle

Harmonie: well said. I have been busy and struggling to blog – painting has been de-railed for the last few days..
