  1. I also like this Nazm. Have heard him recite it. Have you read Sardar Jafri’s book, ‘Lucknow ki paanch raateN’, one of my favouries. His prose is also beautiful.

    Sirf lehra ke reh gaya aanchal, rang bankar bikhar gaya koyi,
    gardish e khun rangon main tez hui, daaman e shauq bhar gaya koi
