Two poems with a fresh diction

Ayesha SalmanAyesha Salman is a sensitive writer. Like many new writers, she is searching for the right publisher. She is currently revising the manuscript of her first novel.

I am posting her two moving poems “Mother” and “Love”. Her poem Mother was earlier published in the Smoke magazine, UK. I like her imagery that is both stark and colourful. Both the poems have a haunting quality

  3. i hate this poem…. it sucks i dont know what it means and i know that alot of us dont but work harder and maybe you will find or do better work k but you are pretty so there is a plus for you

  4. Both poems are beautiful..a touching simplicity and sensitive exploration of meaning.I loved this oriental depth of feelling in approaching both topics:mother and love.I’m a poet myself and I felt and was moved by the tenderness of what you tried to express. Thank you

  5. Very VERY beautiful and well written poems. i loved LOVER more than mother but mother was still amazingly well written and worded. you seem like a EXTREMELY wonderful writer… you will go far. mah ehs alamie…

  6. “hate”, “sucks”? Just because you didn’t “understand” Ayesha’s work surely does not warrant a reaction as violent and extreme as yours Jessica. If I were you, I’d refrain from speaking on behalf of all the other readers.

Please don’t blame your inabilitiy to understand something on another person’s efforts to express herself.

Ayesha – I love your work – “always have”.

    Cheers!
